Eligible first-time homebuyers, qualifying military veterans and certain targeted-area buyers using an NC 1st Home Advantage Mortgage may qualify for $15,000 in down-payment assistance.

The assistance is a deferred 0% second mortgage, with forgiveness under program terms. Current published guidelines include a minimum 640 credit score, plus income, sales-price, occupancy and other requirements.

Eligible buyers may qualify for $15,000. Program and lender requirements apply.

FHLBank Atlanta distributes homebuyer assistance through participating member financial institutions, including institutions serving North Carolina.

Funding availability, income, borrower category, participating-institution and program requirements apply. Homebuyers generally access these funds through a participating member institution.

Potential 100% Financing Options

Some mortgage programs may allow qualified borrowers to finance up to 100% of an eligible home's purchase price. Eligibility, property, credit, income, membership and other program requirements may apply.
